The pre-season games are over and Jim Thomson had
his testimonial against Rangers where we went down by a single Kenny Miller goal to a strong side. We are though through to
the second round of the Alba cup following a 2-1 win over Albion Rovers at Palmerston on Saturday. Next up is another home
tie,this time in the CIS cup v Dumbarton this Saturday.
We had a great day for Anya's Christening which was in Terregles Church on
Sunday 20th June. We had a reception afterwards in the Aberdour Hotel then back to the house for a party and BBQ in the garden.
The weather was fine and everybody had a good day.

Yesterday (July 10th) we had a great away day to Northern Ireland to watch Queens take on Dungannon Swifts. We came
away with a 3-1 victory with goals from Quinn,Weatherston and McLaren.
Next up in our list of pre-season friendlies are
Hibs at Palmerston on Tuesday night.

The SFL fixtures have now been released for season 2009/10. Queens start with a home game against last seasons
Div 2 Champions Raith Rovers. We have made some decent signings this summer and I am hopeful for a good season.
