On Saturday Owen Coyle brought his Burnley side to Palmerston and in a
good workout for both teams it ended in a 1-1 draw. The Clarets took the lead just before half time but Stewart Kean headed
home an equaliser after 83 mins . Queens created the better chances but in the end a draw was a fair result.
Queens began a series of pre-season friendlies with a 5-0 win over Annan
Athletic at Galabank on Saturday.

Airdrie Utds Excelsior Stadium as Palmerston only has 3500 seats.
